#chargriller #akorn #kamado I was getting rif of my Weber Smokey Mountain and my Pit Barrel Cooker and decided to finally have a go at grilling with a Kamado style grill. The ceramic ones are insanely expensive and I‘m not sure I‘ll like it which is why I went with the one I did. I have a Recteq pellet grill and lile the convenience of the temp controller, but I don‘t like how little smoke flavor you get with pellets. I‘m hoping this is the best of both worlds - the convenience of a pellet grill but with the smoke from wood chunks and charcoal. Please subscribe. Here‘s the video I referenced by @SmokingDadBBQ https://youtu.be/wFemo_YSfms?si=PgJFNtGCC4PIoUjW

Pellet grills have so little smoke flavour. All of them. The WSM's are champs though. My first smoker in the 90's. The Akorns can punch way outside their price range. Just don't get them wet. The price comes with tradeoffs. But they can make fantastic Q.
I hope the temp probes have been made better. Anyway, order a spare fro when you hey the error code. Also, you might want to buy the Akorn ashpan with a vent so you can operate it manually when everything breaks. There is a reason for a short warranty…
That looks great!
