The Untold Story of the Armenian Genocide (Hitler Bet You Wouldn't Watch)

Education

On April 24, 1915, the Ottoman Empire began a systematic campaign to completely erase the Armenian people from the earth. 1.5 million innocent men, women, and children were ruthlessly slaughtered for refusing to renounce their faith in Jesus Christ. It was the first genocide of the modern age—the one that taught future dictators the world would simply look away. But the world underestimated the fighting spirit of the first Christian nation. In this powerful documentary short, we explore one of the darkest days in human history and the miraculous survival of the Armenian people. Discover the incredible true story of the civilians who held Musa Dagh against an entire army, how a 24-year-old survivor's revenge in Berlin directly led to the creation of the word "genocide", and how the descendants of the survivors went on to change the world through medicine, technology, and art. We also address the heartbreaking reality of history repeating itself with the 2023 ethnic cleansing of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), and why Michael Franzese chose the unbreakable nation of Armenia for his wine. Explore the 6,100-year-old winemaking tradition of Armenia with Franzese Wine: https://yt-fw.franzesewine.com/ The Untold Story of the Armenian Genocide (Hitler Bet You Wouldn't Watch) 0:00 - The Day The World Looked Away 2:54 - Chapter 1: The Three Waves 6:47 - The Defense of Van 7:15 - The Mountain of Resistance (Musa Dagh) 9:37 - Chapter 2: I Have Killed A Man But I Am Not A Murderer 12:56 - Chapter 3: The Rebirth 16:53 - Chapter 4: History Repeats 19:31 - A Personal Message to the Armenian People (And The World)

I LOVE THE ARMENIAN PEOPLE THAT HAVE TOUCHED MY LIFE. FAMOUS CHEF ANTHONY BOUDAINE WAS ARMENIAN. A YEAR OR MORE BEFORE HE PASSED HE AND HIS BROTHER WENT BACK THERE. GREAT VIDEO, MICHEAL. I DID LEARN A FEW THINGS. THATS GOOD!! NEVER TO OLD TO LEARN. MAYBE SOME DAY THE FIGHTING WILL STOP IN THE MIDDLE EAST!!! I PRAY 🙏 ALL THE TIME FOR THEM ALL.

Sri Lankan expat residing in Paris thanks you Michael for this eye opening video😊my first encounter with an Armanian was maestro Charles Aznavour, who was the permanent deligate to UNESCO,the next was the best school friend Anush of my daughter.Though heard of the Armanian genocide, never knew that it could happen a second time as recent as 2023.Has the UN,of late, become just a stage for the powerful member states, to debate while hiding their crimes? Thanks to voices like your's to shed some light on these crimes.Stay strong, continue to educate us.GOD bless 🙌🏽

Reddit is one of my fav Apps to use💚 it helps me take my mind off things when I'm having flare-ups. Glad the Armenians overcame that horrific event that never deserved to happen to them in the first Place 💯.

Instead of hiding it, Turkey needs to confront its history by officially acknowledging the crime against humanity, the "Genocide', that resulted in the killing of 1.5 million Armenians in Western Armenia.
