If you’re ever at Schiphol Airport (Amsterdam) you could go to an Art Exhibit with masterpieces, among MANY other activities. All without leaving the airport. It’s one of my favorite layover spots!

I stayed in the airport about 16 hrs after Thanksgiving break because my flights kept getting canceled, i was about to lose my mind, i couldn't do much because i always had to be aware of the next flight change. 10/10 would never do again

My mom was a air operations officer and her rule of thumb was to make me be there like 2hrs earlier(I flew alone) and I’m used to it so now as an adult I get there, look for my gate, pick a spot on the floor and use my backpack as a bean chair and sit down to draw on my tablet lmao. (If I’ve got extra money I will buy myself a snack or food)

I find my gate, get food, then walk around until boarding time. Seats are usually full so I just stand and wait. I'll be sitting on the plane so I keep moving to stretch out.

i had a 6 hour stay at singapore airport and i spent a whole 3 hours frantically walking back and forth trying to find one pf the garden thingies they have😭
