I did that it worked, but if your airline doesn't allow free pillow you can wear several layers of clothes. I have done that too. They said that I am very organised when they saw how I was dressed: trousers, skirts, jumpers, coat, 5x belts. I actually managed to sneak in 12lb of excess luggage twice 😂😂😂. Whom I am kidding I have excess luggage all the time.
