Speaking of pens… on the flip-side, it’s also important to not bring too many… My mom years ago brought a bunch of her favorite pens in her purse because: 1) she just REALLY liked pens, especially cool or funny looking ones 2) she hated bringing only one, just to find it was empty/clogged/dry when she really needed it 3) Was a nurse and wasn’t about to touch some communal nasty pen if she didn’t need to The TSA agent must have been one coffee shy of a good morning and let her keep ONLY ONE and threw the rest out! She was furious! They said, “one pen is a pen, a bunch of pens is a weapon” Seriously, the death-glare my mom gave the agent was probably more of a weapon than those pens.
Jeenie.Weenie doesn’t realise this but she is making everyone’s day better 💜
As a person allergic to scents, if someone beside me or near me starts spraying perfume in the plane I am going to be incredibly unhappy that that person has created a medical emergency for me and ruined my trip. Please do not spray any scented products while on the plane. ETA: you all who think I’m just whining, or making stuff up…. You do know that the air in the plane recirculates, right? There is no fresh air in the air vents. I can be exposed to scents from anywhere on the plane. And if I stop breathing and pass out, it’s not ruining just my trip, everyone on that plane is being diverted to the nearest airport so I can get to a hospital. Something to think about…. Your insistence on your “right” to spray more scent, could turn a transatlantic flight back…. That flight from Buffalo to Miami could put down at Charlotte NC…
I swear jeenies backpack is like Dora's backpack. She's got everything in it
Here’s the additional stuff I put in hand carry; travel size deodorant, Foldable travel slippers that I can wear in the cabin. Also, a light change of clothes; leggings, underwear long or short t shirt. I’ve had my luggage lost several times so it’s always best to have a change of clothes and toiletries on hand!
hey Jeenie, people wearing perfume on a plane gives some people a *massive* headache. It's a nightmare when people try on all the different perfumes in Duty Free on their way to boarding the plane and then you have to sit near them and breathe all those chemicals. These are probably nice perfumes, but encouraging people to have these in their on-plane stash hurts my head.
Things I bring on plane flights (pre covid) #1: Electronics: IPads, chargers and earpuds #2: portable waterproof parka: in case it is raining when I get outside of the airport #3: Period Kit: extra undies, wipes, sanitary pads, sanitizer: because I would rather have and not need rather than need and not have #4: snacks: usually things that don’t contain peanuts because people can have severe allergies and I respect that #5: Thick books: because it takes my mind off of my plane anxiety #6: extra clothes: just in case (I don’t have any sickness during plane or car rides so it is not because I vomit on myself) #7: Neck pillow: if I have long plane flights #8: make up bag (kind of): lip gloss/lip balm, lotion and jewelry #9: Pen and note pad: if I want to write things down or just some random doodles 10: a hat: because it’s for any weather

A pro tip for those who get the really bad earache when landing. Bring BUBBLE gum. Yup. This tip i was told by a dr years ago has saved me so much pain and tears. I used to dread flying because I knew id be in pain but a doctor told me use a large mouthful of bubble gum (yes sounds gross) to keep the jaw moving and to relieve the pressure from the ear cavity. I dont fly without bubble gum anymore i start chewing when I feel the first drop (which i feel straight away because I fly alot and know what Im feeling for) then chew till we hit the ground. Its honestly the best advice ive ever received. I also take lollipops for taking off because I don't get as much pain but bubble gum can be used when taking off as well
"CONGRATS to everyone who came in every single second🏆"
Here's a few things I would add to keep in mind when packing: 1. Extra set of clothes-at least for an extra day in case your luggage goes missing. 2. Something to sleep in 3. Medication in the original containers with the name of it clearly visable, and matching the description on the bottle. -bring just enough prescription medication with you for the trip plus a few days extra in case of any delays or if your medication gets stolen. That way, you won't be completely out when you get home. -have a print out of your medication information from your doctor's office in case you do need get some extra to tide you over. Keep a copy in your checked luggage as well. 4. Copies of your passport, and put one in each piece of baggage that you are taking with you, just in case it's stolen. Also keep a copy at home and/or someone you trust...just in case. 5. Ladies who get a period-extra feminine hygiene stuff. I use mestrual disks and period underwear which has been a game changer, but bring whatever works best for you. It's better to have too much than not enough. 6. Stain remover wipes/pen. Just in case you spill something on you during your flight. 7. Plastic bag...keep your dirty items separate from your clean stuff. 8. In terms of scents-remember that less is more. Sometimes, you may be sitting next to someone who is sensitive to scents. Being hygenic is appreciated, but there's no need to have the whole area smell like an overwhelming department store perfume or body spray. 9. Earplugs can be a godsend in case there's a screaming toddler or an annoying seat partner 10. Extra patience-sometimes, we just need it with traveling.
The fact that Jeenie makes everyone's day!!❤❤❤❤
2025 anyone
A few things I would add for anyone carrying medications is: ALWAYS keep the original containers with you, ESPECIALLY for any prescription meds! And ALWAYS check the laws about what medications can be brought into the country you're entering, and if you need to take any special steps; I was doing research for my future Japan trip and discovered that one of my meds requires permission to take into AND out of the country (and I won't be able to bring my Adderall AT ALL, so I'll have to work out a weaning schedule). A letter from your prescriber is also a good idea, just in case.
I love it when Jeenie says let’s gooo. Love this channel. Love u.
Jeenie's "let's gooo" always makes my day ✨
I would kindly recommend bringing along dog bags. They’re small enough to contain all the rubbish you’ll produce on a flight. Just keep everything contained, and at the end of the flight hand over your rubbish and all is good! Thanks for all the tips Jeenie! I love your enthusiasm and energy 🧡🧡🧡🧡
PLEASE DON'T USE SCENTS ON A PLANE!!!! Planes may stank, but that's easier for you to cope with than respiratory distress or ANAPHYLACTIC SHOCK for someone who is severely allergic. There are more allergic people than you think. Plane air is recirculated from the moment the doors are sealed until they are unsealed upon landing. Thanks kind folks. ❤️
Jeenie will never find out how many times she cures people’s depression, probably uncountable, ily jeenie, 💜🖤💜🖤💜🖤 A video idea: make a video of smol kiddo jeenie meets Karen and asks for makeup and then do ur own magic :)
My luggage has been lost twice - one of them was taken to someone's home but they turned it back. It's very stressful to go through that scenario. Definitely follow her advice when it comes to medication, jewelry, and adding my own ideas here: planners, valuables, sentimental items or things that are hard to replace.
