Here's a few things I won't do at airports, it's not that they're massive problems- some of it is only theoretical but it's easy to avoid most of the time so I do. That said, I will connect to public wifi if I don't have signal but I won't do anything sensitive like banking. Also a VPN helps. #cybersecurity #safetytips #travel

I always keep my wifi off when out and about. This keeps my phone from accidentally connecting to a malicious wifi.

This is exactly the moment where everything can go wrong. I once landed and had no data at all — couldn’t open maps, couldn’t call a ride, nothing worked. Airport WiFi didn’t help either. It’s way more stressful than people expect.

you can get malware from USB PORTS! similar to how your computer has those small little sticks that you can plug into the side to load data. but it's only USB, the other ones like C-Type, or Lighting Charges/Normal Charges will be fine. but USB may be laced with malware
