I was surprised that I disagree with almost everything in this video. I agree with dress comfortably. And I agree with 'solid' liquids, when they can be found. I like cash. The transaction gets completed on the spot. No statement showing up later with items that need to be questioned. Hard suitcases are more secure and protective. I've had several soft suitcases get ripped and zippers broken. I don't spend my day sucking on bottles so a thermos is more stuff to carry. I do not live my life with my head up a phone's ass. I don't want to hear about stupid apps that fascinate fone junkies so, so much. If it wasn't for using the alarm function I wouldn't even have the power on the fone. And I use a real camera. Any editing can wait until I get back home. I will not work while on vacation, I will BE ON VACATION.

Misleading, Most solids don"t perform anywhere near what the liquids do. Second, lots of airports don"t have hot water available, there wasn"t even water fountains in Vienna airport ,only expensive bottled water.

The digital stuff is prep for the mark of the beast.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE a thermos!! TSA hates them because their scanners and X-rays can’t see through the layers correctly!! Also, NEVER EVER get hot water, coffee or tea on the plane! The water comes from the holding tanks in the bottom of the plane and is nasty 😮 Airlines don’t clean those tanks as often as they should if at all 😮😮😮. So far the only thing this video has gotten correct is how to spell TSA! 😮😮

Digital pay can be copied and hacked. At least they have to be near you to rob you of cash.

I am from Singapore. In my hurry to leave Chiangmai Thailand in late July 2025, I had a plastic water bottle filled with water in my carry on..and I forgot to check in the mosquito repellent in a tube ..oops Yet, Thank God, both the agents of Scoot Airlines in Singapore and Chiangmai Thailand did not charge me for 1kg excess in my checked in luggage..I was prepared to pay but it was waived.. I will bear in mind to pack 80% for my next trip to Osaka for weeks...

cash is king....cards has its limits.......water bottle is better than thermos(how the heck are you gonna clean a thermos with soup/coffee/jiuce or anything aside from water?

Bad advice, I travel a lot... Cash cannot be scammed... whereas digital theft can result in huge losses. The scammers are growingly sophisticated using skimmers are cafe staff, etc, to steal details... Even if I loose some cash, I know my details are safe. I've been tricked before using digital and banks won't protect you.

I will never use a public water fountain. I was in line to fill my water bottle behind about a 12 year old with his mouth on the water spout,,,GROSS!! I walked away. !!BEYOUND NASTY!!

Excellent. So surprised about all the cash comments. Even checking your bag outside the airport when you arrive they don’t take cash for payment. Most parts don’t take cash in the snack shops any longer. I try to keep a few singles or five in my pocket for tipping.

Rather than get who knows what disease from the airport water fountain where the filter has never been cleaned in 5 years, you could use a quality filtering thermos. The only problem is that it's metal so, hang it outside your carry-on so TSA can check that it's empty without having to open your carry-on bag.

No thermos , I’ll still use a plastic bottle and reuse the next bottle of drink I get. I still print important itineraries I need. Like travel tickets and hotel information, that’s in case something goes wrong at that moment I need it. Or for emergency, they see my hotel address etc. Perfume you get free at duty “free”😂. Charge your phone /power bank wherever you got an opportunity, Take the maximum allowed size backpack , it’s usually still small. Always be alert, glance around yourself and feel your stuff in your pockets. Always have tissues in your pocket or bag. You can ever refill from the toilet or airplane.

Pro tip: Do NOT drink airplane water at ANY temperature unless they hand you an unopened corporate labeled bottle of your own. “Potable” airplane water is frequently cross contaminated by black water from the restroom (E Coli, y’all!). Don’t believe me? Do a little research. Hot water won’t make a difference because you have to boil water to kill pathogens and airplane water is only heated, so coffee and tea aren’t safe either. And if an attendant approaches you with a big bottle, chances are it’s been filled with the plane’s water. Ice is usually catered by an outside facility so it’s safe, but ask at the gate. You can usually get hot water in the various lounges if you have access, other than that, maybe you could ask at one of the restaurants?

Another must for that personal item: any necessary medications!
