You've reached the end
Great tips, only one I would avoid: don’t put loose ribbons on your checked bag. They get stuck in conveyor belts and cause airport delays. Put a piece of colored tape on a handle instead.
I love your tips - I forget every one of them as soon as I put my phone down but I still love them!
The baby pamper and the liquor bottle 🍾 sent me 😂!! 👍👍
Some great tips and best of all they were delivered without the crazy music or dramatics!
The zip tie one to replace the zipper that’s broken is genius 🤩
I've been mopping the plane with wipes since before covid😁
I was traveling with a group. We all bought cheap or second-hand luggage. I bought a stencil and sprayed the same image on all our luggage. Easy to spot and we had 12 pieces collected in no time.
Be sure u also wipe the back of the seat in front of u - where your food tray touches when the tray is up, not used.
Some ideas are workable. However, the one with a string to make your phone hang from.your neck is dangerous. The string threads through the phone case which can easily separate from the phone that way. Then you would be left with only the case as the phone would fall out. My two cents. ❤
Love your hacks... some I knew, many I didn't. Thanks for sharing
We've been doing this since the 1950's! She forgot: 1. Always take photocopies of the last pages of your passport (the one with your photo and details). If you lose it you'll have all the information on hand to show to the authorities thus saving valuable time proving who you are! 2. Always take your old/unwanted clothes on holiday. Wear them, then throw them away. More room in your suitcase to bring stuff back - and NO laundry to do when you get home 3. Never buy a black suitcase. Always buy one with a pattern or different colour so it's easier to spot on the carousel (particularly if you're in a rush for connecting flights) PS: If that nappy-wrapped bottle breaks, it will leak over all your clothes anyway! Better if put in a sealable bag too.
Love the toothbrush holder idea. I’m taking that!👏🏽
The only one that I would definitely caution is the earrings/cotton rounds hack. Those cotton round fuzzes are going to be everywhere. A better hack is if you have left material, like an old shirt. My husband has old shirts, cut a piece out and use that.
Instead of using pampers, which are expensive or if you don't have a baby, save bubble wrap from packaging and use that. 😊
I recommend to use colorful tape on your baggage. I once grabbed my luggage from the conveyor belt, and suddenly a woman screamed I was trying to steal her luggage. Turned out mine had a red tape on the handle while hers didn't has. She didn't looked pleased and didn't say sorry when she realized she was wrong 😂 the looks from other people toward her already made me pleased
Things I take: a couple of large bulldog clips, or similar, to hold the hotel curtains closed. The curtains never seem to fit tight and let light leak in. A flashlight, if there's no nightlight in the hotel, or leaving the bathroom light on means the noisy fan will be running, it helps to have a flashlight to get around at might without waking my hubby. I was also in a hotel once when the power went out and there were only the red emergency lights in the halls but nothing in the room. I saved the plastic bags that new shoes are often packed in to cover shoes in the bag. I have an inflatable neck pillow for both the air plane and long car rides. I store it in the side zip of the luggage so it's always there. I use zip ties on the bags that I check, so I know if TSA, or a thief, has been in my bags. I use colored duct tape around the handle of the bag to mark it, and to hold a small ID card, instead of tying any cord or ribbon on it, as those can be torn off or untied. At the beach I put the phone in a zip lock bag to keep the sand and water out. I pour cologne onto a sanitary pad, putting it in a zip lock bag, instead of carrying the bottle. It's wet enough to just rub the cologne onto my skin, and never worry about a leak. And I always pack a few extra zip lock bags of different sizes, and more zip ties for the trip home.
Thank you for sharing these tips!
Me too & I have always worn face masks on airplane flights (to avoid getting sick from flu or other diseases that are airborne) before COVID Era.
OM goodness, you just gave me so many ideas I can easily incorporate in my life! Thank you!
