Another reason to bring a power bank is because the charging stands and even USB ports found around a place like an airport can actually be hijacked to steal data from your phone. Not sure how often it happens but it’s definitely possible and not unheard of. Best ways to avoid it are bringing a power bank or using your own cube plugged into a power outlet.

Pro tip: you have to at least be there 2 hours before the flight, if you're in a hurry. 3-4 hours is recommended since you can settle down at the airport, maybe eat lunch/dinner, and do shopping.

An personal tip of mine. Check with tour banks to see if your credit card gives you free VIP lounge access. This way you go there for free, gets more comfort while waiting, FREE FOOD (and good quality food), free drinks and so on.

Also a quick tip for fellow travellers: don’t catch a cold and still go on the plane. If you have running noses and your noses are blocked, your ears would SUFFER, and I mean it. I had to go on a 11 hour flight, and my ears were SO SO SO painful. I think this is because of the congestion from the cold…
