Kamakhya mai bhi gya hu Mata ke Darshan karne ❤ Brahmputra nadi dekha aur Station ke paas BSF camp par ruka. Jab mai aur Mummy Papa Kamakhya Mata ke Darshan karne pahunche to vaha bahot bheed thi tab ptaa chala ki mandir 9:30 bje khulega aur hamari 12:00 ki agartala ki flight thi, us din aisa kripa hua ki 8:00 bje hi darvaja khul gya aur 9 bje tak darshan karke time par Airport pahunch gye, Jai ma kamakhya ❤🙏🏻

Moral of the story.....save money everywhere except on the train tickets 😂😂.

Same to the same exact story happened to me but with few little differences. My friend and I reached the station where the train will be boarding us and will go all the way to VSKP. I had to go to KGP so from VSKP it will go there. Now the train departure time was 3:30 PM but when we came it was already 3:25 PM. Actually it took us 15-20 mins to book our tickets since the queue was long. But when we reached our platform the train was leaving and we ran out of our breaths but couldn't catch it. Waited there for the next train because we didn't want to pay for a different train ticket again and go some other day. In the meantime my friend and I wanted to order a Thali from one of the finest restaurants in Chennai. Problem was that it wasn't accepting to drop that far as the restaurant is in T Nagar which is 10kms away from central stn. So we ordered directly without PNR. It was a sumptuous meal though. Lasted for the entire night. Anyways the second plan worked but it came with a mighty struggle. We booked general class tickets for the earlier train to save on our expenses and carried that for this one also. Now upon arrival the general coach started to fill in like a storm raging over a city. We could barely look at the vacant space in there because it was too crowded. You had to step on their heads to make a way through that hell. So we went ahead for the sleeper coach. There it was even worse. People were mostly sitting outside coach door stairs that blocked our path. It killed 5 mins of our time before the train was to leave. But we decided to not give up. We stepped in the AC tier 3 coach and the conductor caught us without a ticket that forced us to assemble in the middle and cram our way to the sleeper coach. This took 30 mins. Railway food distributors were shoving us out of our way to create space for going themselves. The train guard had threatened to beat all with a belt if we didn't move. So we rushed fast and my friend took one seat while keeping his suitcase below to step foot over it. Then I couldn't find any place to sit. I had to stand for sharp 3 hrs before there was any available seat. Next 9 hrs went like hell with the bad stench, sweat, bodies touching and other gruelling stuff that made me want to vomit. Somehow I reached with my friend in VSKP after 12 hrs and mine after 10 hrs more to my hometown. It was hell of a journey but worth a lot. We spent 15 days away from this awful college we are in. I feel grateful I wasn't the one to bite the dust just like in your situation. I wish you and everyone reading this all the best when travelling by train. Know your risks and travel safe.

Bhai aap sleeper dabbe me cadh k waha fine de dete toh atleast baithne ko jagah mil jata.... Jitna homestay me diya utne me kaam bhi bann jata and time bhi bachta.
