Let's all just take a moment to appreciate the quality of content that Creators like Xander give us these days. No commercial breaks, unnecessary intros, just incredible, high quality content for very little cost. We've come a long way from cable TV. THIS is SO much better, and I'm here for it.
I literally cannot imagine doing all the survival stuff on top of taking the time setting up the cameras and getting all those amazing shots and angles. Truly incredible
The laughter followed by the moth flying into the fire was a wild ride lol.
I feel like I'm cheating on Outdoor Boys
A little tip for your next trip always save the fish bones and the bit of meat you didn't get from it and stick it in your metal cup and boil it than drink the broth. It's a great boost. Fish bone marrow is a great boost in vitamins calcium sodium. it's basically an all natural electrolyte drink that you could definitely use on the third day out in the jungle!
The fact that you can maintain sanity, sustain self support, make jokes, and STILL do camera prop is phenomenal 😮
Just a big shout out to Xander! Absolute pleasure having him to visit us here in Guyana. Definitely a tough environment, but he absolutely nailed the experience! We been doing this for over 20 years and his roof is probably the best we ever came across. Great respect from the whole team behind The Wild Tales.
Nah I just found out he’s on a sobriety journey and does this for his own type of therapy. What a great guy
To repeat myself: this man's strength and stamina, endurance and attitude, skill and knowledge is very very damned impressive. PS. I am glad that almost 2000 people agree with me. I am not known for my rosy picture of the human race, but the number of bitter and shrunken comments below really surprised me. I have watched many of his videos over years and even with equipment, or without, I stand by what I say. There are a lot of nasty little people in the world.
1:21:10 - For some reason your embrace of the Moth, your sudden laughter, then dissapointment at it's death - just mere seconds later - really hit home! I felt amazed, happy and sad within a few seconds.
So glad you randomly popped on my feed, this video is a masterpiece.
Xander in the rainforest, a literal full-length movie. What could be better on a beautiful Saturday morning? You are the man! 🌎✌️
One tip with those water purifying drops! When you're shaking the bottle initially, have the cap a little bit loose so that it can get into the crevices of the thread, then tighten and shake after. I've heard of people getting sick after using iodine tablets because of living bacteria that were hiding in the thread of their container which didn't get affected because the container was shut tight from the start. Loving the content, keep it up bro!
Looking at you makes me realize " pain is inevitable suffering is optional". What a wonderful content
bros dad lore is gonna be crazy
One thing about this guy doing this. He never complains and whines about his situation. Great Job 👍🏼
These videos are somehow relaxing, just how the guy doesnt freak out at all being in harsh wilderness and completely calm and even joking most of the time. Huge respect.
I studied Amazonian moths for many decades and that Guyanese Hummingbird Moth you pushed into the fire was thought to be extinct. I guess it is now ⚰
This is the first time I've watched a video this long without pausing in years. Thanks for such an entertaining watch and good luck on your continued journey.
Man I just saw the sobriety comment and as someone who's been sober 7 yrs and is actually dreaming of doing stuff like this just to do it this is awesome I stumbled upon you tonight an I'm a huge fan!!!!
