This 9-5 chapter was my rock bottom moment in life and I knew I needed to make a change. So I did what everyone told me not to. I QUIT. With $2500 to my name, I booked a 1-way ticket to Asia to try and find a way to make a career through travel and filmmaking. The problem was, I had no idea how to make a video. But I kept trying and eventually… It actually worked. The last 10+ years of my life have taken me to 100+ countries, 1000+ flights and each step of this journey was recorded and shared with you. This is the story of an exceptionally average dude who never gave up. 🔔 𝗦𝗨𝗕𝗦𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗕𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗘𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗢𝗦! https://youtube.com/lostleblanc

As a Turk myself, the video is absolutely accurate an extremely welll made, on point... Welcome to my country :)
SO, who's making Istanbul their next destination??
We’ve booked a trip to Turkey for 6 weeks in July and August. Can’t wait! Just need to get the all clear my cancer is gone in the next couple of weeks. 🤞
I am a street food guide in Istanbul. If you come to Istanbul, I can guide you. I've guided George Clooney and PewDiePie before.
I was there for the past month, if was nice! Very welcoming people.
I was there a week ago and one of my fav travel so far! People are so nice and friendly. Food is delish and weather is really good not too hot and not too crowded. We explored Istanbul for 2 days, 8 days in Kas,Fitheye and Mugla and 5 days in Cappadocia 🤩 Ps. Food price was cheap and turkish coffee is a must!
I love all your videos but this one a little extra because it will literally help me with my itinerary so much! ❤️ Would be amazing if you could do more of these with as many countries as possible! 🤗
Who in 2025 is seeing this whilst in Istanbul and crying because everything is so expensive
I think we all love the ON A BUDGET part ha,ha! And yes, I would love to travel to Istanbul for sure! Beautiful video, outstanding production! xx
I am from Turkey but I live in Singapore . This is a great video but just wanted to clarify that there is NO river in Istanbul .. Perhaps you meant like a bay .. which would be more accurate ..
My wife is Turk and her family was so warm and welcoming
Istanbul looks amazing! I cannot wait to make it out there! 🇹🇷
If I may, Bosphorus is a strait not a river. Per WikiDiff "As nouns the difference between strait and river is that strait is a narrow channel of water connecting two larger bodies of water while river is a large and often winding stream which drains a land mass, carrying water down from higher areas to a lower point, ending at an ocean or in an inland sea".
When I was living with my mother we would watch all of your Turkish videos and she enjoyed them all! I’m Turkish but born in America so I love hearing all of the good things and even LEARNING more about what to do next time I visit my family! Maybe I can save up some money and take them out on a yacht!
Went there in March 2024. Great place but ruined by inflation and currency fluctuations. Cab from the IST airport is 1000-1200 TKL, stayed near Taksim square, literally everybody is trying to scam the tourists, the price on the menu and what you pay is always more, bars/pubs will add extras to your bill, charge commision if you pay via CC.
I would say Kadikoy on the Asian side is the best Asia to stay in. Best nightlife over there and it's right next to the ferry if you want to go to the European side. They have a big park on the Asian side near kadikoy and it's a lot less crowded.
Actually i come here for cats 😆🌚
The quality of these videos you're producing is just on whole another level! Well done!
Love your interview corner, such a wanderlust vibe 🌿✨ A year ago I went to Istanbul and completely loved it, we have to go back. Greetings from Mexico 🙏🏻💚
Booked my trip to Istanbul for June, this video made me 10 times more excited. Come to Cape Town, you will love it here
