This morning Charlie and I got up at 3 a.m. and made our way to the airport to fly to Berlin where we would spend a little less than a week, then take the train to Hamburg and three days later another train to Copenhagen. So let’s talk about how to travel with little money. Number 1. BE FLEXIBLE Be flexible with your destinations. Use sky scanners everywhere, a tool, for example, to find some great offers. And fly outside of season. Make sure you don’t travel to a country during the holidays or school breaks. Number 2. GET UP EARLY Early flights are cheap flights, but they give you extra time wherever you go. So set your alarm. Number 3. BRING A BOTTLE AND SOME SNACKS When you’re walking around the city you’re gonna get thirsty and a little hungry. Instead of buying a small bottle of water at every other street corner bring your own! little things like that add up. Number 4. AIRBNB OR HOSTELS I love Airbnb. That’s that. I’ve only ever been in luck and found a great place with good access and for a good price. And hostels are a perfect way to meet from all over the world if you’re travelling alone. Number 5. EAT LIKE A LOCAL Don’t eat near sightseeing spots. Guaranteed the price of the food will be higher just because it’s near the Brandenburg Gate or the Eiffel Tower. Find smaller places where locals eat, where the owner knows his crowd and greets them, where the food is authentic. Number 6. GET LOCAL CURRENCY Do not get it at the airport or some exchange place. It will cost you loads. Instead, get some beforehand at your bank or when you arrive, find a bank and then ATM and make a bigger withdrawal, so you don’t pay exchange fees and transaction fees several times. Number 7. FREE WALKING TOURS Sand immense walking tours all over Europe are great if you want to learn a little bit about the city you are in, and its histories, definitely book a walking tour. LOVE IT! Always book a place to stay with a kitchen - that way you can self-cater, saving you loads of money at meal times...but perhaps leave a little money for local cuisine!

Eating out can add up. If I travel with a group, I generally like to stay at Airbnb's. This allows me to make a light breakfast, snacks, and my own morning coffee. I also will make one big impromptu meal from chance farmer's market finds. It's still tourism, as I am engaging with local institutions and items. And there's always a moment, anyway, when you want to take a break from restaurants. So, I find that this saves my group close to a thousand dollars. I've bought jumbo shrimp at a marine reserve in Portugal, prawns in Spain, steaks in Paris--all memorable moments.
the advice that I could givf you about traveling would be arriving at the airport hours in advance to be able to check in, pass the controls, arrive at the boarding gate calmly, eat sometting if you are hungry and so on . Also, you should bring medication, in case, it happen something. This is always very good to have.
If you want to travel cheap, you should try house-sitting or couchsurfing to save money on accommodation. You might also bring a reusable water bottle to avoid buying drinks everywhere, which can really add up. Another tip is that you ought to pack snacks for long trips instead of buying expensive food at airports or stations. Finally, you shouldn’t forget to ask locals for recommendations. They often know the best and cheapest places to visit!

I love budget travel, so here are some advices to save money while exploring the world: 1- Look forward to exchange programs, if you are a student they can provide your costs with many exchange students fees. 2- If you are interested of the city you can find free walking tours, many cities have free walking tours run by locals. They are fun, informative, and you only contract what can you afford. 3- Travel With Friends, it can help you with costs for food, accommodation, and transportation with a group will make you save money dividing the prices. 4- Choose groups activities, the last advice is intertwined with this because talking about the activities you have vantage if you are careful and buy tickets for groups. If you are going on vacation with your family, for the flights, you'll probably take the family pack for 20kg bag, just one for all the family, but it will make you pay like if everyone took one 20kg bag for itself, so my recommendation is that one member of the family takes the pack of 20kg bag and the others take the normal one, it will make you save a good part of the percentage of the total price.
