I used to love travel, but it seems more tech hassle, planning and expense than fun and adventure these days. I'm glad I travelled the world when I didn in the 90s. Life was so much more free then. We went to Italy last year, and it was lovely but took a lot of planning and cost a lot.
I am truly humbled by how many of my new subscribers subscribed to my little channel through this video - a MASSIVE thanks to you all. Next weeks video shocked me I found a foreign holiday for Β£100 including flights and hotels !
Best, most common-sense video Iβve seen in a while. Getting the most out of life, spending the same as two meals for quality time, all the best messages. Always research it down to the street level, plan every footstep yourself, never assume anything. My luggage rule is if everything doesnβt fit in the bag size that goes under the EasyJet seats then it doesnβt go. Never need more than that one small bag unless youβre on expedition.
It's wonderful you travel with and encourage your kids to travel. It is the best form of education for young people. ππ
Great channel! We enjoy staying at a place that has a kitchen. Shop at local grocery store (which is a cool experience as well) and get items for breakfast and an occasional dinner. Enjoy a couple of eggs, cheese and bread, a cup of coffee...even pop down to the local bakery and return with some pastries before the family wakes up. For dinner, maybe a simple pasta dish and a bottle of wine. Great way to save some money, but also adds to the experience.
Good practical tips without all the fluff love it!
If you ever come to Vienna, water is not always free (1.5 -2β¬/glass) but always free next to a coffee. And there are some traditional coffee shops that are really generous and affordable. Most museums have one free day a month. City museum free, except special exhibitions. #tourguide advice. Shout out if you need anything.
Travel isn't a luxury to me it's an addition. love it like you budget travel isn't the only way its best way
This is just the video I needed as Iβm planning a trip to Japan with my two young adult daughters next year and we are on a tight budget. Got a little emotional watching your video for some reason! I have a cruise booked with my 80-year-old mother next year also so I really appreciate what you said about the time spent and memories made New subscriber here!!
I'm glad I found your travel because we share the same philosophy about travelling. Nice video. Thanks.
Great video and I do lot of what you do to enable me to travel more and see as many places as possible. When it comes to hotel reviews I always read the bad one cos typically (more often than not), people are moaning about nothing or trivial things like the hairdryer was only 500 watts instead of 1000!
Id l9ve to know how you find the heap hotels. Do you have favorite search tools? It's the cost of accom that keepx blowimg my budgets π thanks in advance
I really like your videos. However, the videos are not increasing in views and subscribers due to some problems. If you want, I can help you solve these problems. Best wishes to you.
These are such good tips! Made me feel like I can actually realistically travel without having to be loaded or saving for years. Thanks so much for your time and effort to make this video β€

Smart move!!!
I can recommend Belgrade, we went as a family of four, cheap wizz air flights from Luton, stayed in an apartment, eating out was very cheap, it's a very walkable city, so no need for taxis.

All good tips and how I travel. I don't need luxury. I don't even always need a hotel. I've build friendships with people in several countries so they visit my country and stay at my house or I visit their country and stay at their house. But not all people are alike and some really want a luxury vacation. That's ok for them. It's just not for me.
