Where has chef Jean-Pierre been all of my life?! I am not only learning but being entertained as well. What a wonderful personality chef has that makes cooking a joy.
My father was a gold medal award winning Manhattan chef from Italy. On the board of the chef di cuisine of NYC. Vice president of the Long Island culinary association. I was blessed by having the experience of being able to share the experience of him bringing me to work with him starting at age 9. Best memories of my life. He guided me through every aspect of every aspect of working through a restaurant kitchen. At 9 years old, he taught me how to butcher everything starting with poultry, then veal shanks for osso buco, lamb shanks and roasts etc. Then was moved over to assist the pantry chef. Then was moved to dishwasher. The best days of my life. My regret is that I didn't follow his footsteps, and for the past 20yrs+, cooking has been my passion...to the point where people ask me why I'm not working in or own my own restaurant. I enjoy watching your videos. It brings me back to working with my dad in the kitchen. Thank you and God bless

The first thing i ever cooked as a kid in 1978 was french fries with a fry daddy. I was 11 Ive been cocking ever since. I watched cooking shows on pbs. Julia child frugal gormet. Galloping gormet. Chef jean peirre is right there with them.
