Pesh is the best! Stumbled across another on of your videos and heard you mention Pesh and I knew instantly. We overloaded with her in 2010 and she was AWESOME! She also helped set up our tent on the first night when we arrived late.

Overlanding in Africa dates back to the 1970s when British companies like Oasis Overland, Encounter Overland and Dragoman Overland went from London down to places like Johannesburg and Nairobi. For example, Encounter Overland used to run trips that lasted 17 or 18 weeks and went from London down through Europe to Algeria and then Niger, Nigeria, Zaire, Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and then South Africa. Most of these companies went out of business during covid.
