It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its dramatic cliffs, pastel-coloured cliffside villages, lemon groves, and that one impossibly winding coastal road known as the SS163. The most well-known towns are Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Praiano, Maiori and Minori. Sorrento sits just to the north on the Bay of Naples - technically not on the Amalfi Coast itself, but often used as a base (and hands down one of my favourite towns in the area). The closest airports are Naples (about 1.5 hours away), but you could also use Rome's airports as I say in the video ๐ค The Amalfi Coast is a year-round destination, but the high season runs from June through September. Spring (April-May) and early autumn (September-October) are usually the sweet spot if you want better weather than winter, fewer crowds than midsummer, and ferries still running on full schedules.
