SOUTH PITTSBURG TRAVEL VLOG: 29th National Cornbread Festival | TAG Corner
{ TL; DR: I attend the National Cornbread Festival in South Pittsburg, TN and enjoyed wonderful food, cornbread from across the country, live music, and beautiful family traditions. } Welcome to Part 2 of my Southern road trip series 🌿✨ In this vlog, we’re heading to the 29th Annual National Cornbread Festival in South Pittsburg… and let me just say, it was quite something. This is my second year attending, and it truly feels like stepping into something special, a small-town celebration filled with tradition, community, and some of the best food you can imagine. Think: 🧈 Cornbread from all over the country (yes, I tried a lot) 🍖 BBQ everything, ribs, steak, and unforgettable flavors (including some amazing New Orleans-style dishes) 🍤 Spicy Southern seafood that did not disappoint 🎶 Live country music, sitting and enjoying the moment with family ☀️ Warm Southern sunshine with the occasional breeze (much needed!) 💛 Friendly faces, storytelling, and that unmistakable Southern hospitality What makes this festival so meaningful isn’t just the food, it’s the people. Being there with Big E’s family, continuing a tradition that means so much to them, made it even more special. From reconnecting with familiar faces to hearing the stories behind the recipes, it felt like more than an event… it felt like community. If you love small-town fairs, good eating, live music, and a slower, more connected way of life, this is definitely one to experience. I’m already looking forward to next year 🤍 Thank you for being here and coming along for the journey… from quiet lake days in Part 1 to this vibrant, joy-filled festival in Part 2. Now I'm so ready to take a break from traveling and just enjoy being home sweet home!!!!! Byeeeee!!!!!! Xo
