Malaysia’s 🇲🇾 Most Controversial Festival? I Went To See It Myself

I went to check out the Rain Rave Water Festival in Bukit Bintang to see what it was actually like on the ground. The setup looked great, the lights were solid and the crowd had a really good energy throughout the night. There was a mix of local and international acts which made it feel pretty lively. At the same time, I can see why some people had an issue with it and why there was some backlash from locals - I get where they’re coming from. But I can also see how something like this is good for tourism - it brings attention, gets people talking and gives people another reason to come check out Malaysia. For me personally, it’s just not really my kind of music or scene - but that doesn’t take away from the fact that a lot of people there were having a great time.
