You can check out our new live streaming channel here! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiiY0MsUgNihfAZ2ZgC19lg Hello friends and welcome to another video! So, late last year we decided to take the plunge and move across the country for a fresh start in a new place. After doing some serious decluttering, we packed up our house, grabbed our cat, and hit the road (and vlogged our whole cross-country road trip in our minivan!) It's been a couple of months and we are finally set up enough to dive back into making videos, so here is our moving vlog! Hopefully you guys enjoy it, and thank you for being so patient with us while we figure all of this out. Also, sorry about any smudginess of the windshield! It was tough to keep clean on our drive, but I know sometimes it can look gross, so sorry about that! Lol This video is NOT sponsored!! safiya is the only youtuber who can go rogue for months and i'll still stop everything and watch her video when it does come out
It is strange: no matter how long a vlog you upload, it just feels way too short. I cannot stop watching you guys, missed you. 😍
Just wanted to say I really appreciate anyone with a platform coming out to just say "we're not doing well here right now" as a valid reason to make a change. Thanks Safiya!
HELLO FRIENDS!! you can check out our new live streaming channel here! /channel/UCiiY0MsUgNihfAZ2ZgC19lg i hope you all are doing well, staying healthy, & had a good start to 2021!! thank you so much for your patience as we've moved, settled in, and are ready to get back to making videos again. i hope you guys enjoy our moving vlog :) xoxo, saf
Tyler's dad tracking the weather along their trip and calling with a warning about the ice storm is just about the cutest thing ever and also peak Dad.
the fact that crusty looks constantly disgruntled is my favorite thing about this video
Tbh as a European it's mindblowing that Americans are so comfortable with driving for so long, if I were to drive for 40 hours I'd probably end up somewhere in Russia lol
You know safiya is an expert when she manages to make a 40 minute video about driving, captivating.
This is peak relatable content: realizing two days into traveling that if you don't eat a vegetable immediately, you're going to lose your mind, and saying "cows!" every time you see a cow.
Let’s all take a moment to appreciate the fact that Safia and Tyler drove across the US for multiple reasons but first and foremost was to do what was best for their cat. That’s almost too wholesome.
The fact that Crusty was a street cat and is estimated to be about twenty years old makes me feel like he's just a person who got cursed to live as a cat.
The real reason they moved was to get away from the blueberry pancake smell.
I know this video is like a year old and 40 minutes long, but it’s literally my comfort video. I always put it on while I’m cleaning or getting ready. It’s like hanging out with friends
"Going to Vegas with our cat and a giant hard drive" sounds like a movie I'd watch for a joke but then get irrationally attached to
The fact that they planned their trip around Crusty is just *chefs kiss*
I can't believe I watched a 40 min long video of two people traveling with their cat , without skipping or getting bored
If I was any earlier to this video, Safiya would still be engaged, betrothed, and affianced.
I love how Crusty has zero concerns about where he goes as long as the humans who give him food and pets are still there. He’s just like “ok, guess we’re doing this now. Wake me when there are snacks.”
As a pet owner, the fact that Crusty's comfort was a factor in the decision to drive across the country during the move, makes me SO happy.
I feel like it's a new YouTube wave of creators realizing they don't need to be in California. Which is great
