We’re starting with one of the craziest breakfasts in the world, and wait till you see all the other amazing Iraqi food we’re about to eat. 8 AM Rasul Kahi Geymar - Welcome to the ultimate Iraqi breakfast in Baghdad, called kahi geymar, a flaky pastry bread, soaked in syrup, topped with geymar buffalo cream and pistachio. 9 AM Sajad Abo Oruk - Just down the road we headed to the next spot, a Baghdad street food stall specializing in a different type of Iraqi breakfast. We tried Bagela bil Dihin - Fava beans and fat, and Makhlama - Iraqi omelet. 12 PM Iraqi Martyr Monument - Next up with did a little sightseeing in Baghdad before our next meal. 1 PM Abo Hamza Restaurant - Located in the back alleys of Al-Kazimiyya Mosque, this restaurant serves amazing home-style Iraqi food. 2 PM Al-Kazimiyya Mosque - This is a place you have to visit when you’re in Baghdad. 4 PM Haidar Double Falafel - How is Iraqi falafel? We’re about to find out by going to try the best Iraqi falafel in Baghdad. 5 PM al-Tahrir Square, Baghdad, Iraq 6 PM Haji Raheem Kebab - You can’t come to Baghdad without trying Iraqi kebabs, probably one of the most popular foods in Iraq, and Ahmed took me to this amazing street stall. 8 PM Maslawi Pacha - Another incredible Iraqi dish is known as Pacha - sheep head and organs, and the fried mumbar - intestines stuffed with rice - was on another level!
