My dad was an A's fan when they were in Philadelphia. He told me about going to old Shibe Park and watching them play. He loved them and continued to follow them after they moved to Kansas City and then Oakland. Since they were my dad's favorite team, they became my favorite team. In 1970, I was standing in the kitchen in our home and my dad asked me if I wanted to play baseball. I said yes. Our team color was green! We had green hats. We were the Cornwall Centers. I found an A's sticker and put it on my hat, because I had no way of getting a real A's hat. In fact, I didn't get my first A's hat until 1987, in Baltimore at old Memorial Stadium. When I was 10 years old, that was when I started getting into professional sports. I remember them losing to the Orioles in the 1971 playoffs. It was tough, but the following year, I remember watching them on TV as they won the first of three consecutive World Series championships. I remember cutting out pictures of A's players from Sports Illustrated magazine and taping them to the wall in my bedroom. We often drove to Baltimore to watch the A's play in old Memorial Stadium. It was outstanding! That sealed my membership for life!

But I like Oakland my dad's team in high school he coached had the yellow jerseys green pants why to state championship.. Went to multiple games and was getting recruited to play college baseball at same time. I was in Kentucky for weekend recruited by Georgetown when we won it all..... Benzinger....i was in heaven... I’m from Long Island, New York and I did go to the Coliseum once years ago. It was a weird sunken stadium with too much foul territory. What I remember most about that day is that it was sunny in the 70s and after the game I took BART back to SF and when I got off the train there it was cloudy and I was freezing. Oakland definitely has better weather.

I almost cried at the part when I found out I was featured in this film. The drummer drawing is based off the photo of me, yelling and drumming my heart out at the reverse boycott game. I couldn't be more thankful to have experienced the true Oakland Athletics life, even if it was short during a time in my life I needed this team the most.

Thank you for making this. I'm having trouble even tuning into A's games this season and this was a nice alternative.

I went to the last game, and it was one of the best games i have ever been to. Ima dodger fan from LA, but i had to see the Colosseum for the first and last time before it was gone. Immaculate vibes all around. I got a little replica and saw a W. Made a few friends and had a great time.

I'm a 66 year old lifelong lifetime New York Yankees fan born in New York City in 1959. I'm watching as I always liked Jim "Catfish" Hunter and Reggie Jackson.

Used to drive in from the valley to watch them. Everybody says Oakland is rough, but A's fans are the friendliest people you'll meet.

I took my son to the game in Sacramento when they inducted the big 3 into the A’s hall of fame. He got to meet all three and take pictures with them. He got Marks autograph. I told him stories of me going to games at the coliseum and how special it was. The best part of the day was when the two of us started the chant “ LETS GO OAKLAND. “ Even in Sacramento, the crowd was loud and proudly chanting LETS GO OAKLAND.

I put off watching this for a while, because I knew it would be painful. Its not only all the great memories I have at the Co, like my mom somehow finding a way to take to my first game in 1985 even though she hardly had money to pay bills let alone take me to an A's game. Being at games during the 20 game streak, being at game 162. My first even play off game.. making opening night a faily tradition when I met my wife and eventually, what is my absolute best memory, taking my son to his first ever game at 6 months old. What hurts the most is not what I will mss, but what I will never get. The memories I will never to get make. My son and I will never go to an A's playoff game, or a World Series game. Our family tradition of opening day is now gone. Its really messed up. Thank you so much for making this, and I am glad I was finally able to sit and watch. Thank you, to all fo the colorful fans we met as season ticket holders, and the ones who we never met that still made the Co such an amazing place to be.

Even if I'm from Italy, Genoa, I've always rooted for the Oakland A's, I've ever been in Oakland but I've always felt as my Baseball HOME....Probably I'll continue to root for the A's even when they will be in Vegas but I can FEEL (part of) the pain of Oakland fans....I hope they will return to Oakland, the raiders did it, maybe even the A's will do it... A big hug for you all......LET'S GO OAK LAND! ⚾🟢🟢🟡🟡⚾
