Hi I am 27 years old. Almost 28 and I graduated High School 9 years ago. I was very bad at math, probably because I was never to interested in it. Today 09/20/2023 I am starting basic math and It doesn’t matter if it takes me 6 months or one year to learn this BUT I’m really looking forward to learn because I desperately need to pass the ASVAB TEST for the Army. I’m a single mom, I never considered myself good in school but that’s OVER. I believe I’m smart, I was just lazy. I can do this. Been working as a housekeeper for 6 years and I don’t want to continue with that type of work. I need a career before I hit my 30’s

I’m 29 and I’m going back to school for Radiology. I remember I was not so great in this subject as a whole after algebra. To give my brain a refresh I decided to start from the ground up. The foundation is important. Never give up and it’s never too late.

I am 29 years old and have adhd and struggle with elementary math. basic elementary math I am now teaching myself school was not a positive thing in my life sosaly from elementary until I graduated high-school. Reading writing and math are very hard for me but I want to teach myself now that I am aware of myself .......... for someone like me what tips or advice could you give me on how to go about teaching myself and what format it would look like this video helps a lot BTW and do you know of any other youtube channels or resources that I can do to apply to my day to day life that could help.
24, going back to college for a Cybersecurity and Network Administration degree. I need math 😂 I moved around a lot as a kid, and switching states means the mathematical requirements aren't always the same between grades. I never learned division, and that made me believe forever that I'm bad at math. But I passed classes in high school, and the few I did take going to college the first time around! Watching this video for the first time is scary, I feel like I can't do it, but I know I have the math somewhere inside! Thank you for helping teach us adults and others who want to learn math, but honestly never did or forgot how.
Can u please not for every video do a big long drawn advertisement. You can do your advertisement for the first one minute.
I am 32 years old. I was a child of 2 immagrints from Mexico. My father would get drunk off of several glasses of wine every night and my mom was never available emotionally for me and my brother cause she worked and went to school. I couldnt speak english or spanish in Elementary school. I struggled alot with focus in class. The only thing I understand in school was Math. And I was really good at math. I am refreshing myself from the start and long to work myself up to Algebra and Caculus. I am self teaching myself. I worked many different jobs despite the language barrier. And journaling also helps. I journaled my trauma, insecurities and fears to get past it all. It took alot of tears and anger. But it helps. It is never too late to change. It is never to late to try something new. And it is never a bad thing to refresh yourself from the beginning. Never give up and keep moving forward.
we're not going to talk about how I just graduated and I tried to take a simple test outside of school that kind of recaps every year ( without using a calculator this time) and realized i forgot how to multiply and divide some long equations by using what I learned in 2nd grade? let alone other simple things I actually am going to need in life. now I'm fixing to take the asvab and realized highschool screwed me over because they taught me things im never going to need and in the meantime dumbed me down to not even needing to remember basic math till I looked at the asvab.
Im 28 and heading back to school after the military. Thanks for the video.
