Our math gradeβs goinβ up w this one!! π£οΈπ£οΈπ₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯
Also for the nines is 1x9=9 2x9=18 3x9=27 4x9=36 5x9=45 6x9=54 7x9=63 8x9=72 9x9=81 10x9=90 If u donβt understand I mean that the tens digit grows bigger( ascends ) and the single digit grows smaller ( descends )
For 9s you just need your fingers
Every one: That's a good trick!! Le me noticing the song and vibing to it ππππ
Also, a trick that my friend taught me was hold up ten fingers, and whatever you are multiplying by put that finger down (ex: 9 x 8 you put your 8th finger down) and the number of fingers before the downed finger is the tens and the rest is the ones (doesn't work with anything over 9) Hope this helped!! Guys my apologies, simpler explanation by someone else in da replies. Misunderstanding, this trick is for 9s
and for the 9s x1 09-90 x10 x2 18-81 x9 x3 27-72 x8 x4 36-63 x7 x5 45-54 x6 x6 54-45 x5 x7 63-36 x4 x8 72-27 x3 x9 81-18 x2 x10 90-09 x1 etc its flipped
One for nines!(or 9) So like if you are multiplying by 9βs take the number(not 9) you are multiplying 9 with then subtract it be one (Example): 9x3= Take the three and subtract it by one and 3-1=2 Then take the 2 and add till you get to nine 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Take the 2 and seven and 7 and put it together (Put the number you got first in the tens place)?
I know a double digits in 11βs trick For example β23x11β In the number β23β add the two digits together , that equals 5 so in the number 23 put it in the middle it will look like β253β . so next time u get asked one of those you can say 23x11=253 Iβm in 5th grade and above and I enjoy watching her! β€
our teacher showed this trick to us in class today! Itβs so cool seeing you do it!
OMG TYSM FOR THIS TRICK I ALWAYS FORGET SOME OF MY TIMES TABLES
my brother showed me a trick for 9s where the tens always go up by 1 number and the ones always go down by one number so like x1= 09 x2= 18 x3= 27 x4= 36 x5= 45 x6= 54 x7= 63 x8= 72 x9= 81 x10= 90
9s as well! -9Γ1: 09 -9Γ2: 18 -9Γ3: 27 -9Γ4: 36 -9Γ5: 45 -9Γ6: 54 -9Γ7: 63 -9Γ8: 72 -9Γ9: 81 -9Γ10: 90 You have to count from 0 to 9 and then the same backwards but 9Γ1 can also be 9 not 09 but its the same depending of how you write it. Hope this helps!! (For the ones who dont know, some people know this trick already...)
WAS I THE ONLY ONE THAT WAS VIBING TO THE SONGπ ππ Edit 1 : I have 31 one likes I've never had this much btw thanks guys ππ Edit 2 : OMG I have 49 likes πβπ»π Edit 3 : I have 54 Edit 4 : I have 70 βπ»πβ¨οΈπ
you are 100% better just memorizing all basic multiplication and division because when you are in an algebra test you do not have time to do whatever βtrickβ you have. just memorize it, itβs not that hard
A trick my mum taught me for 11s: Say, for example, 12 x 11, take the 12 and split it to the first and last digit; 1 2 And then add them together; 3 Then take the three and put it between the 1 and 2; 132 This works with every number I tried, even big ones (if it doesnβt work tell me in the comments and Iβll try fix it), I hope it helps! :)
As an Asian, memorizing the multiplication facts isnβt that hardπ«
U can also use it for the 9 times table
for 19 times table: tens digit: put odd numbers going up ones digit: put numbers going down starting with 9 19 38 57 76 95 114 133 152 171 190
Ty for showing this! I need to practice my 8!
There's also another way for nines, you guys may know this, but yeah Put up your fingers And for example 9Γ8 Count to 8 on your fingers Put down that finger And then then theres 7 And 2 so the answer is 72 Sorry if it's really confusing, I'm rlly bad at explaining π
