Dogs do a lot of strange things… but none of them are random. From eating grass to staring at you while they poop, every behavior your dog shows is rooted in instinct, biology, and deep psychological wiring. What looks weird to us is often communication, survival behavior, or even a sign of trust and affection. In this video, we break down 15 strange dog behaviors and explain what they actually mean, using real canine psychology and science. Once you understand these signals, you will never look at your dog the same way again. Because your dog is always communicating… you just need to learn how to read it. this video reminds me so much of my dog. i cried a lot when i lost my best friend
THANK YOU! I'd never had a dog that eats grass til now, and I don't understand people that say "it's because she feels sick." I promise she doesn't like waking up from a sound sleep at midnight to run to the door and get sick, and she definitely doesn't like not being able to eat or drink the next day til her tummy settles.
Thanks for explaining....
The behaviour isn't strange at all. It's totally typical of dogs. But the information and explanations are good to have.
Nice video. I just got my first dog and was baffled by the digging. Now I know she's trying to cool off. Thanks
Wow, dogs are way more interesting than I thought!
How many actually yawned when they saw the image of the yawn...???? Be honest on it...I did...lol😅😅
The art works in this video is amazing
My dog eats grass daily.I presumed she was trying to get fibre. She is very selective what grass she eats.
So what does it mean when your dog doesn't follow you around? At home my dog sleeps (eyes closed) looks perfectly relaxed and doesn't follow me around. He only comes to the kitchen if he hears me opening the fridge or his dog food can.
Excellent artwork!
I call it "creepy sleeping" 😂 All the dogs I've ever had do this to some degree. My not-so-mini aussie is the worst by far for sleeping like this. Dogs do have sweet glands elsewhere, just ask any chihuahua or dachshund owner. They spend the day under blankets and they stink all over but especially their pits.
I've learned to recognize the kind of grass my dog prefers to eat and will take her to those spots where it grows. I tell her, "want some grass?" She understands and if I say those same words away from those spots, she will walk to them. She's a McNab collie(shepard), now 11 years, and my service dog. I've never felt a closer bond with annyone. Nice work on your videos. 👍
Many thanks for your explanations. I have learn’t a lot of things about dogs I did not know.
I’ve had dogs all my life and heard many of the “explanations” of why dogs do their various things but this summary is the BEST, it takes a simple experienced based approach to pretty well all of our friends behaviour…….brilliant , well done ,
Dogs should rule the world
woof woof, i eat grass for fiber. i need fiber the same as you hooman!!!
Facultive Carnivores not omnivores
Dogs have so many little quirks that seem random, but it’s amazing how each behavior actually has meaning behind it. The more we understand them, the stronger the bond becomes. Definitely learned a few new things here.
Lovely animation 👌
