TUGG my best buddy is fighting cancer and is 8 1/2 years old. Praying things progress well for him. He is a Border Collie/?? Not sure as I got him as a rescue dog from the humane society in Brookings SD. All I can say he"s just GOODNESS and I'm BLESSED to have him. i have had dogs all my life...i have always worked at making them feel important...otherwise why have them? i wish that so many people see this excellent vid because its all so true, devices that take your attention away from them and what is actually going on in your immediate life is the worst thing of all. I am now alone with my dog and i notice that if im feeling disinterested in stuff he gets jittery and reminds me that.."hey i want to interact with you" i know the worst thing i can do is IGNORE my friend..he needs me as i need him. Please take note of this vid if you own a dog? Also as far as crates go..from puppyhood i have left the door open on m y dogs crates and they have gone in themselves to rest or retreat..the only time i close the door is for safety reasons or if needing to travel. It frightens me how many people dont understand what their dogs requirements are...

Molly. We lost her almost 2 years now not a day went by that she didn't feel loved. We didn't do any of these things. She was always by my side and played with her constantly. Her ball and Frisbee were her favorite things and all her stuffed animals. We had her almost 14 yrs and we still miss her every day.

Never knew what love was until my dogs . Never knew what a broken heart and pain was until I lost my first dog .. I swore I would never love another one but that’s not possible . Ile never get over the loss I know that much . Been five yrs and I still cry looking at pictures or talking about her . I cried the other night cause my dogs not are about five yrs old and I’ve only got maybe five yrs left with them or if I’m lucky eight . Yrs go by so fast seems like I just got these pups . They live to love and be loved that’s all ! I swear they are angels and have taught me so much about myself and well what unconditional and true love is . I don’t think I have any reason to live other than for my dogs I don’t know what I do without them .

Great information. I’m glad I came back to this one. This is the first time in 18 years we have had only one dog. We’ve always rescued and been a 2-4 dog family. They are our family; we are their pack. Our 2 seniors passed this year (ages 16 and 17). Long lives of love. It’s been a season of grief and navigation. Our now only dog still has some aggression issues from his previous life but knows he is adored and is living well.
