I do not like crates for dogs. I’m a retired cop. I was sent to Investigate a terrible smell at a neighbor’s house. Long story short, the neighbor had passed away and the crated dog also passed away. Even the medical examiner commented the poor dog may have survived if he could have gotten to water, or food some way or another. It was heartbreaking and I can’t forget the extended family didn’t want to be troubled by the dog’s remains and he wound up in a garbage truck. I’m the guy who put his remains there, and I cannot lose that sad memory from so many years ago. Please don’t crate your dog. Spend time with them and teach them. My humble opinion from a hard day.
OMG! This killed me. How you ignore your dog, leave him in a crate or do any of these things? Dogs have a serious problem being left alone too long. It’s a killer.
I can tell you one thing I’ve learned over time, there are so many people who should never have access to a dog, they don’t deserve a dog and all the love they have to give. This video should be required viewing for all dog owners and anyone looking to add a dog to their home. Dogs are the purest of souls, they love us with their all, treat them as such, give them the special attention and relationship with you and make them a part of the family, or the pack, as they deserve.
Eddie, my jack russle loves his crate. It has no door, and he puts all his favorite toys in there.
I'm about to cry, I just took in my late aunt's dog (a few days ago) and I'm already worried I'm not loving him enough. Then again he's going through alot (he was in the house when she passed). My late Aunt's dog is a Goldendoodle named Charlie and he is such a sweety <3. I do let him sleep next to me.
The one about the phone or computer has always gotten to me…I try to see it from her point of view: The person they love the most and completely depend on is staring into this lifeless object and and totally ignoring them. They have no concept of your whole world inside your phone or computer, to them it’s just a hunk of metal. If you show more interest in this inanimate object than you do in your best friend I can imagine that would be heartbreaking for them. Even when I’m busy doing something important I always put it down when she comes to me for attention. Even if it’s just for a few minutes, I always want her to know that she’s more important to me than this hunk of plastic in my hand. ❤ 💕
My little girl's name is Martha she is a pug and she will be 4 years old May 30th she's one of my best friends in the whole world❤😊
All dogs want is love and to give love. Truly unconditional love
My daughter's dog is a standard poodle. He's the sweetest, smartest dog I've ever known. I live with them and he's such a good boy. I tell him that several times a day. He brings so much joy to my life. Dogs give us unconditional love and should be loved and made to feel they're the wonderful creatures they really are.
I give my German Shepherd love continuously. Hugs, kisses, back scratches, which he LOVES❣️ 🐕🐶
More humans need to watch things like this, it;s not all about tictoc. How do dogs feel about wearing clothes?
Rainna ~ Charlie ~ Smokey ~ Bandit ~ Paco ~ Lady Bug ~ Serenity ~ Meg ~ Shiloh (I commit to do whatever it takes to give them the assurance that they are loved
I'm French and I'm glad this madness of crates for dogs has not invaded our country yet. I'm a Grandma and in our culture crates for dogs don't exist. Our dogs are part of the family and I was horrified when I found out about crates. You wouldn't put your child in a crate...don't put your dog either, he is just as sensitive.
My little dog is like Velcro to me. She comes and curls up next to me and I just instinctively reach out and start stroking her. I give her comfort she gives me comfort. I love this little dog. She’s my best friend. I talked to her and I tell her she’s a good girl and how much I love her. We play, we throw the ball, we play with toys and she gives me great joy. 14 pounds of unconditional love 🥰
Not all dogs hate hugs ! Mine look for them
