and another level where you silently thank them for protecting you from some unknown danger further up the road. That's how I handle those situations these days

So true, and language assists in choosing what type you can be at the moment. React only to what's under your control

I have no response, I’m not upsetting myself for something I can’t control.

That's fascinating. Yeah I view a lot of people as nodes, everybody is a node in my grid everyone is a number. I categorized them. It keeps me relaxed and feel in control even when I know I don't. I don't really have that much control, it just keeps my blood pressure down LOL and it keeps me analytical too

If you don't punish bad behavior, you get more of it.

Manly P Hall had great advice for dealing with evil. Just contain it and it will eat itself because evil does not self-regulate. The worst thing to do is to feed it energy. Same thing with liars and a holes. Contain them and let their own behavior come full circle.

"People are just facts." It's arrogant of us to think we can change anyone other than ourselves.

Information from a license plate is really easy to find, if you know how to seek it out. You return the favour after they’ve forgotten the action - best way to make a lesson stick.

This is the understanding of PTSD (Or, at least how I've come to learn in over time and study): PTSD is almost always from bad people doing bad things. It's rarely just that something bad happened to you - it's that someone was responsible for it or there was a reason in someone's control. You experience a tornado and almost die, you're probably going to be better off psychologically than if you had someone try to kill you with a knife.
