100 - 30s and 60s (20 numbers) - the remaining a ((100-20)/10 = 8, 3 and 6, so 8*2 = 16 numbers) = 100 - 20 - 16 = 64

I took the question to include any bumber with a 3 0r 6 so surely we discount numbers in the 30's and 60's due to the tens incliding a 3 or 6 digit.

I found it more intuitive to count those numbers in my head that wouldn't be said; 8×2+2×10=36

30 seconds boys... When you stay there no one gets it.

this is not how you do it in under 30 seconds. 100-10-10-(2*8)=100-36=64 that's how you do it quickly in your head.

I did 100-20 for thirties and sixties, then 80-2x8 for the remaining =64

Carlotta is in for a rude awakening after 41 gets skipped and 43 gets read.

Simplest way is unit place can has 8 possible digits. Since we remove 3 and 6. Same for tens place. So 8x8=64

You forgot 43 as a prohibited number

This was fairly intuitive, just take two out eight times (for eight sets of ten not beginning with 3 or 6) and then take out 20 for 30-39 and 60-69. That’s 36 and 100-36=64
