Every time your dog licks you, it’s their way of saying You’re my safe place… love his eyes

When i got married to my second wife she had a fat chihuahua that she raised from a puppy. Awesome furry family member. I always wondered why she would always sit on my feet. I thought it was a sign of disrespect to me because I was intruding and stealing her mommas attention away. Never thought it was the other way around. She was showing acceptance to me. Thank you so much. Tho she passed away several years ago we still miss her.
Dogs are amazing in every way. ❤ Can't imagine life without dogs. 😊 People that are standoffish or freak out are usually 🤔 strange people that can't be trusted.

When the suitcase comes out, my dog breaks my heart. He REALLY knows what he's doing. I feel so guilty 😢. He turns 15 in a few weeks, I love him so much ❣️
I am fortunate to have a female Corgi next door to me. My neighbor allows me to sit in their yard during the day to play with the dog. She does everything described in this video. She lays close to me, licks me and shows her back while I gently pet her and scratch her. I always talk softly to her. She makes direct eye contact constantly. I always bring treats for her. If she is in the yard, she will stand by the fence and bark until I come out. My wife says the dog has me well trained. She does. I love that dog.
Almost every dog I know…licks my face and gets all excited to see me. Makes my heart sing
