We dive deep into the Rig Veda and the Vedic period through extensive research, evidence, and historical interpretations presented by our guest. The conversation begins with the role of women in ancient India — what they wore, their participation as warriors, their freedom in society, and references to women demanding progeny, highlighting discussions around gender equality in early Indian civilization. The episode further explores Rishikas (female sages), the spiritual depth of Vedic knowledge, and challenges misconceptions, including the origins of sati. We also uncover references to family structures, social systems, and the mandala framework mentioned in the Rig Veda. We discuss the famous Battle of Ten Kings, archaeological and textual evidence surrounding horses, elephants, and ancient weaponry, while questioning debated narratives like the Aryan Invasion Theory. The conversation expands into the deities of the Rig Veda including Indra, Agni, and Soma, along with the significance behind mantra chanting. Referencing the work of Frits Staal, we explore documented Vedic rituals and their connection to natural phenomena such as rainfall. The discussion also touches upon human origins, the significance of the Narmada Skull, and perspectives surrounding India as one of the earliest cradles of civilization. Astronomy, nakshatras, and advanced systems of knowledge described in ancient Indian texts are also decoded, including early forms of medicine and surgery. We discuss Ashvins, Maruts, and Ribhus — often misunderstood as “aliens” — and explain their historical and symbolic significance. Towards the end, the conversation explores cosmic understanding, astral observations, and interpretations of phenomena mentioned in texts like the Ramayana and Mahabharata, along with the lifestyle and cultural practices of Vedic people. --------- Timestamps : 00:00 - Introduction 03:52 - Rupa Bhaty x Raghav Sharma 05:30 - Women & Their Attire in Rigveda 08:00 - Women's Position in Rigvedic Period 12:59 - How was Rigveda Created? 13:44 - Sati Pratha Was Not Mentioned In Vedas 15:26 - Yama and Yami ( How Did the Brother-Sister Relationship Begin? ) 22:30 - Cosmic Purusha & Rigvedic Gods 49:08 - Twin Gods & Medical Surgeries 58:05 - Aliens In Vedas? 59:22 - Space Crafts, Vimana and Cremation 1:04:48 - Rishis and Supernatural Power 1:07:30 - Mandala System In Rigveda 1:10:09 - Importance of Mantra, Nature & Language 1:23:04 - Universe Creation According to Rigveda 1:30:55 - Rigvedic Period & Food 1:36:30 - Final Thoughts 1:38:20 - Ending

I love this lady ...n her voice ... there's some calmness in her voice ...such a resourceful person 🙏🏻
A couple of small suggestions as a listener. 1. Please let the speaker complete their sentence or topic, do Not cut them midway and just start speaking about something else. 2. The constant "Han, Han, yes yes, okay okay" is very disturbing especially when we are listening to the podcast. Let the guest speak, you can just nod to show your agreement. Try to match the pitch and voice tone of the speaker. 3. She talked about a photo and a link she shared with you and asked to display it, but you didn't display any of that. please add the link and photo, these small things are important for an audience. The topic is amazing, mesmerizing. Rupa Bhaty ji gave us some amazing knowledge, just these small things I felt like suggesting genuinely.
