Hey, Dutch citizen here! The main issue with Amsterdam is that it has more tourists than Dutch citizens. It doesn't feel like "The Netherlands" anymore honestly. You're better off visiting Utrecht, which is known as the lesser-tourist version of Amsterdam. Love 💯

I lived and worked in Amsterdam for about 4 years...I was 19 and had never been anywhere away from home.. Glasow....even then there was Red Light District. Had agreat time, and met and worked with people from all around the world.. I am 71 now.
