I would recommend wiping down the packets of food or drink before consuming to prevent you from getting sick. I would also recommend not biting them to tear them open, instead carrying small pocket sized scissors around to open them as well. Secondly stop eating out of the same containers or baggies and stop sharing so you don’t get another cold sore outbreak anytime soon. Your immune system is more susceptible to getting future cold sore outbreaks as well.
