Canadians with a brain don't buy Canadian Tire tools unless they are 70 % off. Princess Auto is fantastic on returns.
I'm fascinated by how the ink on a Canadian Tire receipt disappears after a month or two.
I love Princess Auto.
As far as Princess Auto is concerned I have been self employed all of my life and they represent the best version of all the businesses I have ever dealt with service and value. An enjoyable experience
Cdn tire worked very hard to get the name CRAPPY TIRE, well earned. Princes auto shipping is reasonable too.
Princess Auto is a great store
Canadian Tire might as well be Walmart now .
Canadian Tire a few years back tried to buy out Princess Auto like they did Mark's and Parts Source, but PA stuck to their guns and kept it as a family type of business and politely told them to go shove it. I am soooooh proud of PA, I call it PA Tuesday as I do not miss that day of the week to get out of the house and go window shopping there.
I use Princes Auto.Far better than Canadian Tire.Great and friendly service.Thankyou Princess in Abbotsford BC.
Can Tire doesn't know what it is anymore, Glorified Zellers/Walmart! I do like Princess Auto.
This is basically Canada's Harbour Freight.
Canadian Tire isn't a hardware store anymore , it's a house wears store.
The surplus racks and aisles... you never know what they found.
ALL JUNK, EVERYTHING YOU BUY IS NOW JUNK...
Princess auto is simply best and many people unfortunately doesn't know!
Princess auto is my go to place. If I’m forced to go to Canadian Tire, I’m always disappointed. Keep up the great work PA.
I had to buy tools for my first civilian job in the 1970s. An old hand understood my dilemma and gave me some advice. He told me to buy the cheapest tools I could find at K-Mart. He told me that I would be using mostly the same tools everyday and those cheap tools would eventually break. He told me to buy the best quality I could afford of just that tool, keep the cheap tools until they break. 50 years later I still have those cheap tools mostly unused. I also have some very good quality tools that I still use regularly. I even ended up buying some cheap sets of 140 tools in a plastic kit with wheels and a handle for $59. I bought several. I keep one in my car, one in my basement, one in my garage. Most trays are still wrapped in clear plastic, but those cheap tools are like insurance to me. While your expensive tools sit in your rollaway tool box in your shop, they are useless if you cannot access them.
I've been shopping at Princess Auto since 1969... great return policy neat products quality products
Canadian Tire evolved over about 40 or 50 years: Canadian Tire -> Taiwan Tire -> Guong Dong Tire
as a tech for 40 years, even snap -on has gone down in quality the same wrench set i paid 300.00 30 years ago is now like 1200.00 and the metal is not the same. i could never afford to be a tech and buy snap-on now if i was starting out! I paid 120.00 for my first 1/2 impact gun and it lasted 10 years now i pay 800.00 and im lucky if it lasts 3 years
