That lay-by you’re in Tim, many moons ago there used to be a burger van in it. She was a small older lady, and had pieces of cake for sale with your brew, after your breakfast buttie. I’m hoping somebody else remembers that.. (A1, lay-by) 🤙
I used one of those phones years ago on the A66. I was on a coach trip and we stopped for a 'comfort break' in a lay-by. I was slightly inebriated and decided to have a chat with them. It was a nice lady on the other end. I asked for her number which she declined but she asked me for mine and my name. Obviously I was a bit smarter than that so I gave her my mates. A few days later, the Police rang him with a little courtesy call and lectured him on the inappropriate use of emergency phones. I never came clean on it so I hope he doesn't read this.

Whatever you do do not get it changed from default break to default other work. I had it done on my work truck and ended up every time I turn ignition on it would take you off break to other work.
littering-crisp packet.drink can/bottle etc, fly tipping -the contents of your bin or a bed ,fridge etc
Shaun can put his workshop card in to change the tacho to default to other work when you turn the ignition off. I had the same on my MAN as the head had to be replaced ( new heads come from factory like that )

We had a couple of trucks that went on rest as soon as you switched off the ignition, ended up getting new tachometer heads as they were deemed faulty !
I remember the tinted windows and exhaust 😢but I also remember when you first switched to youtube and did the trailer swap on the first video

18:27 tacho head has been setup like that. Popular with European work 👍 handy. Used to drive a lorry that switched from break to cross hammers when put the ignition on and you'd forget and lose you're break. Annoying! 🤦
