Why remove the wheel covers?

Actually they’re right , 25 percent of drafts is caused by the wheel tires , so in reality if u do put a cover like that on another cars tires they’d statistically go a lot more faster for a lot less fuel

With the price of gas, those wheels should be made for all cars. A reduction in draft is an increase in MPG.

Those rims are magnesium, if the coating gets scratched they literally react to water and dissolve, the plastic is partially there to prevent curb rash from compromising the rim

Thats not news tho, when you order one it shows how much you loose when you upgrade wheels so people know the aero covers help quite a bit..

It's not necessarily a bad idea it's not going to damage your vehicle but your range is going to go down significantly due to drag and wheel turbulence at speed
