Owner of visually an identical 230G here. Mine is a former fire brigade car from the Hannover area and it has the exact same additional indicators on the roof. The car is well looked after and therefore in a better state than this yours. Very little rust, but everything with rubber is due for replacement. So I am currently (as in right now!) changing the master brake cylinder. They have a strong heart, so best of luck in keeping this lady on the road!

Just came here to say that the only time I rode (was a passenger) on a Mercedes G was one of this gen, the 300TD, and my friend at the time bought a 3 liter container of vegetable oil just to prove me that it would indeed run on vegetable oil (also it had almost no diesel in the tank), the thing ran smoothly but gad damn it stank lol
