My husband is a CDL driver and often works 12-14hr days. Im so thankful he gets to work locally though (such a blessing as everyone told him he wouldn't get a job other than long haul right out of school, and we keep Friday- Saturday sundown as Sabbath which adds an even more difficult layer to it. But we both felt God calling him to go get a CDL literally out of the blue, at the same time and trusted Him that He would work it out, and He definitely has.) That said Moday -Friday 10-14 hour days are just tough! He can get upwards of 19 overtime hours a week. It wears on everyone and I really have to clean, cook, homeschool, etc all before he gets home while caring for 5 small children in general, just so we can actually spend a couple quality hours with daddy before doing it again the next day, it is so difficult sometimes. Thanks for sharing some easy recipes and encouraging us to stay disciplined.

It looks so delicious! My kids won't eat pasta or potatoes. I've tried many times over the years. Thankfully they're huge meat eaters. It's just more expensive when they just want quality meats.
