I bought a $140,000 Lucid Air for just $4,100 then Lucid’s legal team reached out after I tried to repair it myself. In this video, I finally get their response, rebuild the damaged suspension and cooling system, and find out whether this car was cheap for a very good reason. #Lucid #EV #RightToRepair #RichRebuilds For sponsorship inquiries contact us here - [email protected] For other EV issues/questions - [email protected] My E-mail: [email protected] Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/richiebkidd/ Mailbox: Rich Rebuilds P.O. If Lucid actually follows through on this, Rich might have pushed them in the right direction...
Kudos to $500/hr lawyer who worked really hard for the whole week to get that paragraph of text together, lets hope he takes a vacation.
32:22 lucid sounds like that friend you call when they are late and they swear they are stuck in traffic but really hasn't left the house yet
Full OEM access to diagnostics and all programming functions required for maintenance and repair should be mandatory by law and provided free of charge to the vehicle owner. Fully open-source cars would be amazing.
I think it's wonderful that you're advocating for Peter. Using your voice to advocate for people that don't have a voice. You're the man.
THIS IS OFFICIALLY MY FAVORITE AUTOMOTIVE CHANNEL 🎉🎉🎉🎉
6:22 the tea bag was wild 😅
When I was in my early 20s, I used to work on cars with my friends, sometimes till 2AM. During this entire time, we would be bantering and joking around and having fun. Your videos takes me back to those days late night days in my dad's garage working on my cars.
40:04 "it's so smart it doesn't work " that's so true of a lot of tech today
The Hellcat glove accessory should come as standard equipment.
It’s crushing the hose… Joey, that’s my specialty. 😂
I have a very interesting letter from Lucid's legal team saying they are exempt from lemon law because they sell the cars under a different Corporate Entity than the Manufacturing corporation. Look it up, they have TWO Arizona corporations. They manufacture under one of them, and they do service and sales under the other, and use that to get around Lemon Law.
get you barn cat for the shop that fix the mouse problem
What I find absolutely mental is that Lucid thinks it’s acceptable to disable a car that someone owns. It’s not their property. Once someone has bought and paid for that vehicle, how can any company justify remotely disabling it? The fact that a manufacturer even has that level of control over someone else’s property is seriously concerning.
Thanks Rich! This is great progress for right to repair for Lucids!!
LOL @ not getting pulled over for DWB <3 Love you guys.
