Gotta say the quality of MG cars are top notch for the price . They did few firsts - comet , mg ZV electric , Windsor and now this PHEV . Impressive line up indeed.
We need more PHEV's but hopefully they wont look like MG Tomahawak inside out. Putting an ADAS badge on the tailgate is a masterstroke by MG, they had done something very similar when they launched Hector - "Internet Inside".

IMO, The pure EV with its 69 KWh battery will easily do 450 Kms on a single charge in mild to cool weather. My Windsor, with its 38 KWh battery, does 300 Kms in winters and cool weather and 200 Kms during peak summer season (May-July). During mild heat, it does 250 Kms.
Plug in hybrid will tank since there is no tax incentive in gst or road tax for them. The on road price difference will be huge.
Finally, someone took the courage to launch a proper plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) in India, despite this technology being available in other nations, including Pakistan, for quite some time. While the policies aren’t favorable, I still hope this brand succeeds and more OEMs bring PHEVs to India.
Now a days … even a bicycle will also attract atleast 10 media house/ influencers reviewing at one go …… it’s such a mad rush “kaun Banega pehla reviewer” 😀
