Damn that's a clean fix.
Keep saving the old stuff, 😉 it's worth it
It's rare to see something made better than new.
Ladies and gentlemen, that is what a machinist can do for you. They are craftsmen, and do the impossible.
Love the grease spiral, most shops forget that very important detail
Elegant solution. The first thing in ‘sustainability’ is to not throw away everything. Your fix may last more than 70 years.
It's satisfying to bring an original part back to life.
Imagine how much better it feels to drive now
I love machine shops.
You know, sometimes it's not about the money. It's about the pride that you helped the tractor live again done three tractors now two Fords and a Allis Childers D12 brought out of the grave to be put back to parade ready beautiful as new so it's not about the money it's the pride of doing it.
Can you boy's help me with my old knees?
In another life I would have become a machinist. This is so badass
That’s a damn good quality fix. Incredible.
I love watching this kind of stuff, back in my day we repaired everything, I remember rebuilding alternators and starters and everything that was on a vehicle or tractor, we didn't have the money to buy new. Unfortunately the world only makes throw away items these days.
surprised you didn't drill it for grease fitting
Nice ... no need updates for the computer ❤
Dude….. I love your shop! you and your Dad have a commitment to excellence….. love it
The full-length video of Jim & Nicholas’ repair is well worth watching.
Awesome job!
That's a Kurtis style repair, but on a much smaller scale. Impressed
