There was a lot of controversy when this Supra came out especially from the car enthusiasts who were hoping for an updated and revamped 2JZ alternative, and adding to that, only came in auto. But after Toyota realised how much of a blunder that was, it finally came with a proper manual transmission to fulfil the needs for petrol heads. People still weren't exactly stoked about the BMW-derived B58 inline 6, but the more time people spent tinkering and adding power to that power plant, the more that people realised Toyota hadn't lost their minds #supra #b58 #bmw #mk5supra #2jz

I'll stream a couple more songs from you, no problem.
The Lexus LC500 should have been the new Supra. Not this BMW in a Toyota dress
Imagine buying a BMW thinking you were getting Toyota quality. One of Toyota's most shameful decisions of the past 20 years.
It's the worst supra. I don't like it one it
Because the B58 was pretty much the closest thing to a 2JZ that Toyota could find without having to develop their own engine.
Wow didn't expect it to cost so much more down there than in Canada.
That’s a bmw
Could've bought a real supra
Abolish luxury car tax
Not a supra. Bmw z4 with different bumpers
the numberplate is so apt.
No one was excited to start with... it's a z4 boy

What video is this from?
340i sedan? Z4? What about an ineos grenadier? 😅
2JZ when?
It always mystifies me when brands like Toyota and Nissan just out of nowhere have vehicles with price stickers that could make one start looking towards brands like Porsche and Alfa Romeo. I suppose there’s always the HSV Maloo or FPV Falcon…
