You don't plant the same crops year after year. Crop rotation is the way to go.

It's easy to see who has any experience in agriculture!! Here we use chisle plows to break up the subsoil to loosen the compacted ground and allow moisture to penatrate deeper into the ground!

Even the construction industry knows to scrape off the topsoil and save it to reapply after the deep digging is completed.
Deep plowing is done for land leveling. Deep plow the hight part /hill of the land. The what then becomes top is moved to the lower parts that pools water and cause drowning the crop. Once the lower parts are filled in with the poor deep soil, then deep plow that. Land is leved with good fertile soil on top. The hard compacted soil can be broken up with a (deep) chisel plow.

I’ve seen videos where this work is being done in the low countries of Europe where the Baltic is pushed back and land reclamation turns over the hardened seawater pan.
You know in America way back in the 20s the Midwest used to plow deep. They did that for years the soil so much that he created such an incredible dust storm when some high winds came through that a few hundred miles away that dust absolutely buried houses like snow woodThey called it the dust bowl. If you’re going to tear up that much soil and break it loose you need to do something more with it than just tear it up.
In America we use what they call a subsoiler lot easier to pull more efficient more effective
Thats a very bad idea in my part of the world. New springs pop up masive rocks are pulled up and your black top soil gets diluted with sugar sand. You probably should cover the soil types this is used on.
