honestly, i feel not many noticed but the Camry actually hydroplaned into the back of that lambo, just take a look at the Camrys 2 front wheels, he tried stopping but couldn’t.

Stopping for the yellow light like you’re supposed to if safe to do so. It was safe for the driver to do so but the person behind them was driving unsafely.

Because the lambo knows yellow doesn't mean go faster and he had plenty of time to stop. Even some cops will pull you over for running a stale yellow.

In conclusion, red car was tailgating the lambo. Lambo saw the yellow light as the perfect opportunity to brake check the red car but the red car swerved. Lambo remained stopped (for 3 seconds of the light being yellow). Beige car hydroplaning and/or having bald tires is the unluckiest one

green = go yellow = don't go unless you can't break in time red = definitely don't go under any circumstances

I always stop at yellows too because the people who were trying to turn left at the intersection think the yellow light is actually a green arrow and they always try and beat the red light

why was he stopping, because yellow light doesnt mean speed up before it turns red, it means prepare to stop because its about to turn red. and plus is raining and he probably dont want to lose control

There’s nothing wrong with stopping when it starts to turn yellow, you even see it turns red right away in the clip so it had been yellow for a while. I don’t go on a yellow unless I’m already halfway across or going a decent speed when it turns yellow but the lambo is the first car there so he has time to stop which is reasonable. Yes the Camry is hydroplaning and it’s not fully their fault but I don’t think the lambo did anything wrong either

I own a 97 camry myself and its been my main car for about 5 years. I can confidently say it has horrid traction on wet surfaces. I have my parents drive me in the winter or just take the bus lol. The rule that i learned is when the road condition is bad (snowy/icy/wet), give yourself a lot of following distance, look at the cars ahead of you, not just in front of you, and give enough room to slow down to where you can ebrake the camry if you need (it will skid if you press the brakes too fast/hard especially on wet roads, including the ebrakes which are only really useful at slow speeds as a last resort). Mind you this is coming from someone who hates driving.
