Quick tip... The "700" page starter toner with the Brother can be reset in the settings and will last 3000ish pages after. They don't have a separate assembly line for "starter toners".

Bought a printer 12 years ago never bought ink for it lol just use the one at work
Brother laser printer. Either monochrome or color, doesn't matter. If you're not regularly printing photographs you should look absolutely nowhere else.

I used to work at the Walmart Electronics Counter. Let me tell you, most of those sales are people buying a new printer every time they run out of ink because they think it is cheaper than buying ink.
I like this in person format visiting the store and working their knowledge in seamlessly.
They should have mentioned compatibility with third-party ink/toner. You absolutely do not need to spend $100 on OEM replacement toner for a Brother printer, but for some other manufacturers try to lock you into their brand’s ink
