Four-time Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen heads to Japan’s legendary Fuji Speedway for a high-stakes challenge against a real Super GT pro. In brutal wet conditions, Max has one mission: beat the benchmark lap time set by a Japanese Super GT driver around one of the most iconic circuits in motorsport. But with standing water, zero grip, and visibility getting worse every lap, this turns into far more than just a time attack. Ahead of his highly anticipated debut at the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring in the GT3 Category, this is Max Verstappen pushed out of the Formula 1 comfort zone and into the unpredictable world of Japanese Super GT racing. Can the four-time F1 World Champion adapt fast enough to beat a Super GT specialist in the rain?. ______ Experience the world of Red Bull Motorsports like you have never seen it before. Este tipo es increible
5:36 justice for the drone
I am sorry but this must be one of the most impressive feat ive ever witnessed, 2 laps in the wets and he beats a guy who's whole carreer is to race this car??? Absolute madman, an alien on the track
Great to see Franz Hermann get some recognition
He genuine looks relaxed & happy. No bullshit, Just drive. And scarily tamed an unfamiliar beasts on unfamiliar track under adverse weather condition in less than a lap.......... It's utterly insane.
The sound is just amazing, so satisfying 🤌
Now you know why Max is a four time F1 world champion.
we all are lucky to see max verstappen era...
Absolutely insane. People don’t realize that to be this close on the first lap and then beat the time by almost 2 decisions on the second lap is more than just skill, that’s both talent and skill combined. Who else heard the song as he drove by?? 😅
Kids, you see statistics, 8K videos, and documentaries… but I saw it happen in real time. I saw a kid become a legend. Even back in the junior categories, he felt different. He didn't race like someone who wanted to win a race; he raced like he was born to dominate motorsport. While other drivers calculated, Max Verstappen attacked. He wasn't afraid. He entered impossible corners, braked later than everyone else, and still came out on top. When he arrived in Formula One, many thought he was too young. But we saw something historic: a driver who changed the way racing was done. He was aggressive, precise, cool under pressure… and when he was on his best, it seemed like the car obeyed him. You'll hear about big names in history, but I can proudly say that I saw Verstappen race live. I saw how an entire generation tried to catch him… and almost no one could. And believe me, there are some things that statistics can never explain. Because some drivers win races… but very few make you feel like you're witnessing history unfolding. It's something I'll tell my children in 20 years.
this video just proves the glaze never was glaze and absolutely valid! absolute animal
In the rain, in a track he normally does not race on; less familiarity, in a car he's never driven before. THAT is master class. The adaptability is absolutely insane.
this video has now convinced me that even though Max might be one of the best racers of all time, I'm sure that if you ran into him on the street, you wouldnt know it with the way he is, he seems so nice. Hats off, tons of respekt
They broke the mould after making Max. A 10th or a second off in an unfamiliar car, wet conditions, and then bettering it by over 2 seconds is just pure insanity! Being present and getting to watch him now and over the last few years is a privilege to say the least.
when i saw the title, i thought max was racing steve HAHA
You can say anything, but this man can drive anything and push harder than you think.
In the wet??? This is insane. Shows you he is a genius.
When you look into his eyes while he's driving, it looks as if he's mentally testing the curves with 1000 possible outcomes In just a second
More enjoyable to watch this than F1
Makes me feel proud to be Dutch...following Max since he was a kid, he's just on a total different level than everybody else !!! Go Max !! Show them how it's done.
