That will include a Raspberry Pi like Single Board Computer focused on NPU, WiFi HaLow, a Lidar Webcam, and a UWB indoor "GPS" system. Let's get started! ;-) Thanks to Mouser Electronics for sponsoring this video. 0:00 Future Tech? 1:05 Intro 1:42 Single Board Computer 5:02 Long Range WiFi 9:01 LiDAR "Webcam" 10:34 Indoor "GPS" UWB

I'm so old, I remember when RasPis were affordable.
With fixed 3€ duty on everything from outside EU, Mouser prices are a tad less ridiculous for private customers in comparison all of a sudden. Hopefully Aliexpress finds a way to fix this... or buying electronics and parts in low quantities is going to be very expensive for a while.
Back to the old pricing!
Remember when the pi was 25 bucks? They added a 1 to the price
I just know somebodies going to integrate the "falling asleep while driving" into a gaming rig 😂😂😂
excellent videos as usual! the NXP board costs 189,62 € in Mouser's website and not 135 € as indicated at 3:47
In my previous company, 5-6 years ago, we developed a product to track hospital staff, assets, and patients using Qorvo products. However, it required many nodes to track in large facilities. Hospitals said they didn't want to pay the high prices of UWB modules; instead, we focused on Bluetooth AoA and RSSI-based solutions.
But can it make my coffee in the morning
Trouble with those odd boards is there is next to no community to turn to for help.
To me it feels as if the Rasberry pi is a dying concept.
The new BREADBORD!!! from last vid
A raspberry pi 5 cost ~$200 here. It's better to buy a new mid range phone. It comes with built in screen, battery, Camara 😂 just install a Linux terminal and that's it.
I don’t love the Pi anymore. Stupid Micro HDMI connectors, prone to overheat since Gen4, insane refusal to finally exchange SD for M.2
I loved the them when they didn't cost as much as a mini PC.
13:00 - useful for music festivals when I lose my friends
Note to Europeans: WiFi HaLoW is close to useless in Europe
Raspberry pi is great, but i literally cant afford it
I haven't watched the video yet, but I'll tell you now: if you buy an Android TV box, most Allwinner processors support booting from an SD card. You can install Armbian on them and run any operating system you want. You would have an alternative that is significantly cheaper than SBC prices.
7:13 you look like doom guy in the og doom
12:46 Oh, a brilliant ‘GPS’ for a large model railway ETCS… ;D
