Tech

A 47-year-old computer is still sending messages to Earth from 25 billion km away. πŸŒŒπŸ“‘ Even more incredibleβ€”NASA can still rewrite its code after decades in deep space. This legendary spacecraft proves human engineering can survive beyond the stars. Watch till the end to see why Voyager still amazes scientists today. πŸš€βœ¨ #voyager #nasa #space #science #technology #Voyager #Voyager1 #NASA #DeepSpace #SpaceScience #Engineering #SpaceExploration #Cosmos #ScienceFacts #SpaceNews #Astronomy #Universe #Galaxy #OuterSpace #NASAUpdate #ScienceNews #FutureTech #TechHistory #Innovation #HumanAchievement #USATrending #AmericanAudience #USAAudience #UnitedStates #AmericaTrending #California #Texas #NewYork #Florida #Chicago #LosAngeles #Houston #Seattle #Miami #Dallas #WashingtonDC #TrendingNow #ViralVideo #YouTubeShorts #SpaceTok #ScienceTok #EducationalShorts #MindBlown #EpicScience #Interstellar #Stars #Knowledge #DailyFacts #ExplorePage #TrendingUSA #ViralUSA #LearnOnYouTube #CosmicNews #NASAFans #SpaceLovers #AmazingTechnology #HistoricMission

It's amazing to think that I was a 19 year old working at Radio Shack when they launched this thing, and now I'm 66 with 5 kids and 5 grandkids.

I was a teen when Voyager I & II were launched and were only expected to last 10 years. I’m 65 now and it’s 2026 and still going. Kudos to the people that designed this, to those that maintain and have kept it up.

As an electrical engineer I love this. I had a friend at church years ago who was an EE with NASA and worked on the computer for Apollo 11. So cool.

this is the kind of reliability accountability and pure ingenuity that we miss so much To produce a product like this today well

What's fascinating is that thing is going to outlive every single one of us. Certainty is not 100% but the probability is high.

Absolutely amazing. Every time I hear about Voyager I or I, I am stunned. Even old hardware and software just keeps chuggin’ along β€” with a lot of help from home, of course.

πŸ‘πŸ‘I can relate. After working on computers from 1968 to 2025, I finally retired. That technology also had to deal with drastic temperature fluctuations along with power issues. Code had to be efficient. No room for slop. We have come a long way. πŸ™‚
