Transparent switch makes me think of a switch who is clear with what they want.

I worked at a place that had a sales process where they sold the customer the most expensive thing they can, then did a "right-sizing" when they call in to complain. Management caused the problem, then were upset at support because call volume went up and we had to spend more time on the phone. Basically wiped out any extra earnings from shitty sales practices. We got a lot more pissed off customers though.
I made a plexiglass PC case in the 80's as a shop project. The teacher thought I was an idiot (his words) for not using metal like the original I was working from. I explained that I wanted to use it to teach people what/where the various components are and what they do. A local company paid me $1,000 for it, they copied it and sold it to schools fir the same reasons.
I have an old isuzu hazard button on my desk thats an awsome clicker its not transparent but I kinda wish it was
I had one that used a magnet for the spring. The contact was the only moving part. It was one of the "lasts forever" switches. I played with it for a decade and it never showed any wear.
Any thing can be see through if you use it wrong enough.
PDP-10's always have their switches set to "More Magic". And that's pretty cool!
I wish we would return to making Transparent all the things like we did back in the early 2000's. Love my Transparent LE OLED Steam Deck, Retro Handhelds, and want more of it. I know the Plastic for it is different and oftentimes a lot more... noisy (for whatever reason the OLED Deck is a squeaky sucker) but man does it look good.

One of the reasons I prefer AB contact blocks over temecanique. Not to mention they are a lot more robust in industrial applications.
I’m guessing that despite being transparent and providing a visual example, you are still going to have 80% of the technicians who look at that thing not be able to figure out how switches/relays work.🤷🏻♂️
