It's not the weathers fault, it has always been hot. The problem is on the quality of parts and materials they are making nowadays.

As someone whos lived in AZ my entire life, the issue is crappy glass. Ive never seen or heard of that happening unless it was cheap or extremely old non laminated glass

I'm not surprised that back glass shattered. I previously owned a 2016 Ford F-150 XLT FX4. Experienced multiple reliability and dealer issues: sunroof drain tube clogged and disconnected causing interior leaks and mold growth; EVAP fuel door malfunction (dealer attempted to charge for unagreed diagnostic/smoke test and quoted $500+ for repair); constant battery drain; computer/glitch issues/phantom codes; dash/glass rattles; 5.0 Coyote VVT cam phaser ticking noise dealer tried to gaslight as "normal" and many other annoyances. "Built Ford Tough" isn't really tough at all; just shiny junk.

Every morning I roll down at least one window in my car to vent any heat buildup. And I only roll the window back up when sun goes down.
Cheap glass is the only problem.
