Can confirm, it worked with my quad tyre after realising the reamer was splitting the hole in the tyre more than the hole it’s self
We had a buddy with an over an inch gash in a sidewall, on a rocky trail that turned into a river during a crazy rain event. No place safe to lift it and swap it as the trail was too steep and slick. My buddies jammed like 15 plugs in that damn thing and it held! Couldn’t believe it. Plugs are a life saver!

Best to patch the sidewall with a sidewall patch rather than plugs. You can buy kits with the super strong glue & thick rubber or use an offcut from an old tire & make your own.
